Sculptural Vase

Stock Number: 1824

This is what we believe to be a sculptural vase, designed by Miloslav Klinger, manufactured by Zelezny Brod and dating from the mid to late 20th century.  The pattern number for the piece is 70214 and it was made for a reasonably long period of time.

The vase is in excellent condition.  This means, of course, that it shows some wear and tear to the base and elsewhere commensurate with use.  The base bears the signature "Cvrcek", Josef Cvrcek being one of hte leading glassmakers at Zelezny Brod.

The vase is of slim baluster shape, narrowing to the top which is pointed, and is in amber and blue glass which creates the illusion of a green band where they meet.  The vase measures 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter at its widest point. The vase is 27.5 cm (11 inches) in height.  There are no chips, cracks, or significant scratches, or any obvious signs of restoration.
