Tea light holders, pair, clear, Rudolfova Hut

Stock Number: 2163

This is what we believe to be a pair of tea light holders, designed by Frantisek Vizner for Rudolfova Hut, dating from 1969, pattern number 13438.  Please note that these tea light holders are featured in the book Sklo Union: Art Before Industry p100 where they are incorrectly attributed to Vladislav Urban.  See Jindřich Pařík http://www.cs-sklo.cz/ for the correct attribution.

The tea light holders are in excellent condition.  This means, of course, that they show very little age related wear and tear consistent with age and use.

The tea light holders are cylindrical and measure as follows - bowl/foot diameter 5.8 cm (2.3 inches); height 7.2 cm (2.9 inches).   They are decorated with raised vertical and lateral straight line moulding.  There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
